This course focuses on the design and computer-aided drafting of a highway project. Using survey field data and soil boring information for a project area, an engineering design along with a complete set of highway construction drawings are produced. Drawings are completed using a CAD system along with civil engineering computer software. An engineering document outlining the highway project will be prepared to accompany the highway construction drawings. |
